Tranquility and History: A Visit to Kyu Shiba Rikyu Garden in Tokyo

I recently visited the ‘Kyu Shiba Rikyu Garden(旧芝離宮恩賜庭園)’ in Tokyo, a place of historical significance and beauty. This garden is one of the few remaining from the early Edo period, offering a glimpse into Japan’s rich past.

the following is my pictures

daisennsui (大泉水)

The garden is a visual delight with its well-maintained greenery, serene pond, and diverse plant life. It’s a peaceful oasis that stands in stark contrast to the bustling city that surrounds it. One of the most surprising aspects of this visit was seeing this traditional garden nestled among Tokyo’s modern skyscrapers.

Accessing the garden is quite convenient thanks to Japan’s efficient JR lines. It’s just a short 1-2 minute walk from the nearby ‘Hamamatsucho Station’, making it an easy addition to any travel itinerary.

Despite being surrounded by the city, the garden offers a tranquil escape for just 140 yen. In my opinion, the experience it offers is well worth the price.

If you’re in Tokyo and looking for a blend of history, nature, and tranquility amidst the urban landscape, I highly recommend a visit to the Kyu Shiba Rikyu Garden."

that's all, thank u

even though I only extracted JPEG, it was so great and it makes me enjoy bring my camer along.

thanks for reading! :DDDDD

note: all pics are takes by fuji x-t20 and XC-35mm, and using the recipe.
